Supplemental Tryouts Located at Albemarle High School, 2775 Hyadraulic Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22901

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the tryout for on-site check-in. Players must bring an inflated soccer ball, shin guards, and a filled water bottle. Goalkeepers must bring GK gloves. 

We will keep all players moving and active throughout the tryout to maximize their playing time and evaluation by our coaching staff. We aim to assess all players' training habits, technical ability, coachability, speed of thought and decision-making, tactical awareness, positional play, and more. 

Our coaching staff will not provide direct feedback to players after the tryout session. Instead, they will offer overall input to the tryout group so that they can leave with valuable information to help them improve on their own.

PLAYER NOTIFICATIONS

• See the notification dates below.
• When a decision has been made about a player's roster status, the Technical Staff or Head Coaches will notify players directly through the PlayMetrics App, email, and/or phone call. This communication may sometimes be used while the tryout process is ongoing.
• The Alliance reserves the right to add players to a travel roster at any time.
• Players requiring a decision regarding their status before receiving notification should contact the Sporting Director.
• If a player is offered a spot on the roster, they are expected to confirm their acceptance of this spot within seven (7) days of their notification. 
• To confirm a roster spot, players should call or email the coach or administrator to accept it.
• Register and make the 1st payment/deposit with the Charlottesville Alliance Sports Club online via PlayMetrics.
• If a player has not been contacted about their status by five (5) days after the final scheduled tryout session, please get in touch with the Club Administrator, who will direct your email to the appropriate Technical Staff.

Note: The Technical Staff reserves the right to assess players at all tryouts, training sessions, practices, or games and determine their eligibility to play up to their birth year. However, all players must begin a tryout in their birth year.
