REFUND POLICIES FOR CHARLOTTESVILLE ALLIANCE SC

Charlottesville Alliance Sports Club follows the following refund policies for its soccer programs.

Rec Soccer:  No refunds will be given after the season's first game, except if a player experiences a season-ending injury.  Refund requests can be made up to one day before the scheduled first game of the Rec season for the appropriate age group.  Players experiencing a season-ending injury (proved by providing a signed and dated letter from a doctor stating such) will be granted a pro-rated refund based on the number of games left in the season. Late fees, if applicable, cannot be refunded due to a season-ending injury. All refunds are subject to a $5 processing fee to cover the cost of credit card processing fees. While rare, if the weather or some other unavoidable circumstance limits our program in any way, no refunds or other adjustments will be made.

Travel Soccer:  No refunds will be given after the first session of your 10-month seasonal year commitment, except if a player experiences a season-ending injury.  Refund requests can be made up to one day before the scheduled first session of the seasonal year for the appropriate age group.  Players experiencing a season-ending injury (proved by providing a signed and dated letter from a doctor stating such) will be granted a prorated refund based on the number of games left in the seasonal year, as follows:  a refund of 90% before the first game of the season, 60% before the fourth game of the seasonal year and no refunds after the fourth game through the end of the seasonal year.   Late fees, if applicable, cannot be refunded due to a season-ending injury. While rare, if the weather or some other unavoidable circumstance limits our program in any way, no refunds or other adjustments will be made.

Developmental Soccer: No refunds will be given after the season's first session, except if a player experiences a season-ending injury.  Refund requests can be made up to one day before the scheduled first session of the season for the appropriate age group.  Players experiencing a season-ending injury (proved by providing a signed and dated letter from a doctor stating such) will be granted a prorated refund based on the number of games left in the season, as follows:  a refund of 90% before the first game of the season, 60% before the fourth game of the season and no refunds after the fourth game through the end of the season.   Late fees, if applicable, cannot be refunded due to a season-ending injury. Academy Elite, Camps, and Clinics (all varieties EXCEPT for Residential Camps):  While rare, if the weather or some other unavoidable circumstance limits our program in any way, no refunds or other adjustments will be made.  For Academy Elite, one rain date will be used if needed for the season.  No additional makeup dates will be scheduled.

Refunds for Academy Elite, Camp, or Clinic registration fees are available as follows:
—  More than seven days before the start of the session = 75% refund
—  Seven to three days before the start of the session = 50% refund
—  Two days or less before the start of the session = 25% refund
—  After the session has started = no refund

NOTE: If a program session is closed for reasons beyond The Alliances’ control (i.e., weather issues, facility availability, etc.), no refunds will be issued for those closed sessions.  Exceptions would include camp or clinic sessions canceled due to under-enrollment and any specific player enrollment or placement situations that need addressing; The Alliance hopes to address those issues before starting a program session.
