Charlottesville Alliance Sports Club Recreation program is community-based, where teams are formed by neighborhoods while playing other Recreation teams in-house. The Alliance Recreation program is for all players U8-U12.

What can I expect to get out of the Recreation program?

Charlottesville Alliance Sports Club's Recreation program puts the emphasis on friendship and sportsmanship and lays the foundation for the overall physical literacy of each athlete. We take pride in helping our players and coaches develop their skills through a fun and positive experience.

Where do we play and where do we practice?

Through the City of Charlottesville, Albermarle County, and surrounding locations our recreation program is allocated to use Alliance Sports Park as the primary practice site. Practices are typically 1 to 2 times per week depending on the age level and/or the availability of the volunteer coach.

Each Saturday, we will play our matches at Alliance Sports Park.

When is our season? When are practices? When is registration? When are games played?

Charlottesville Alliance Sports Club Recreation has two seasons – Fall and Spring, starting early September and early March, respectively.

Practices are typically Monday through Friday in the evenings; however, this may vary depending on your coach’s availability.  Registration for Fall is from April through mid-August. Registration for Spring is from October through mid-February.

The Fall Recreation season will be from September 12, 2022, to November 6, 2022
