We are excited to formally announce our new Director of Operations, Keaton Gumlock, who will replace Ethan Taylor immediately.  Keaton is a local soccer talent who played for Western Albemarle High School and Charlottesville Alliance Sports Club. Since graduating, he has played an integral role in the success of our Academy and Recreation Programs.  Along with his wealth of soccer knowledge, he brings tremendous enthusiasm to everything he does.  Keaton is a great communicator and very organized, which will serve him well as Director of Operations.

While Keaton has big shoes to fill with Ethan’s departure, we are confident in his abilities and believe that he will not only fill them but also pave his own path to success. With Keaton at the helm, we are certain that our club will continue to thrive and maintain its position as the best in the area.

We would like to extend our gratitude and well wishes to Ethan, who will be leaving the club this summer to relocate to Norfolk, VA.

Ethan's journey with the Alliance has been nothing short of remarkable. He joined us at the inception of the club and has since been a constant presence at Alliance Park, on calls and in emails, ensuring the club's communication and organization were always top-notch. His dedication and hard work have left an indelible mark on the club.

The club will miss Ethan, who brought experience and energy to his roles at the club. Ethan and his girlfriend, Amanda, will move to Norfolk as she was recently accepted into the Physical Therapy (PT) School at Old Dominion University. With this great opportunity presented to them, we are excited to see that Ethan will also remain involved in the game after accepting a position with the Major League Development Association (MLDA), a leading sports and media organization that offers a supporting ecosystem for sports teams, clubs and competitions with the mission to inspire and connect communities through sports. Ethan will join MLDA and act as their Director of Operations.
