(Charlottesville, VA) Charlottesville Alliance Sports Club is proud to announce Jake Bennett as our new Goalkeeping Director. 

Coach Bennett brings high energy and an analytical perspective as a goalkeeper coach. He currently trains goalkeepers at Own the Goal, an elite goalkeeping academy. Prior to taking on this role, Coach Bennett played with the University of Virginia Men’s team in the 2022/2023 season.

We will continue to develop Coach Bennett through educational opportunities and experience. Coach Bennett grew up playing soccer in the Richmond area and am a third-year student at UVA studying Kinesiology with a focus on exercise science. Coach Bennett played high level travel soccer with FC Richmond where he won a plethora of trophies under Club Champions, VYSA State Cup, and other tournaments. Coach Bennett  enjoys helping goalkeepers elevate their athletic ability within a technical setting. A fun fact about him is his favorite soccer team is Liverpool Football Club!
